Manufacturing Execution

Manufacturing Execution Systems provide a broad set of functionality for coordination, control and optimization of a manufacturer's business and production processes.

MES systems differ widely, some can be used 'out of the box' and implemented rapidly, others are more of a toolkit that require a great deal of customisation.

The MES is usually the central application for an organisation that is serious about traceability, quality, performance management, yield improvement and factory automation and is often integrated fully with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Application like SAP R/3.

Ascari have worked with many MES software packages and are able to advise on some of the most suitable for your industry.  One of the most flexible, modular and multi-platform MES software applications is provided from our technology partner Eyelit.

MES functions available 'out of the box' include:

  • Product and WIP Modelling
  • Equipment and Site Modelling
  • Process and Route Modelling
  • WIP Tracking
  • Bill of Materials Modelling
  • Product Cost Accounting
  • Equipment Maintenance Management
  • Inventory Control
  • Tooling Management
  • Carrier Management
